As Lakeland's only professional ballet company, Florida Dance Theatre has been providing unparalleled performances to Polk County for 30 years.  Having a community that integrates high calibre arts like dance has an impact on everything from quality of life measurements, to a communities' economic health as well.
UNPARALLELED PERFORMANCES
Florida Dance Theatre is Lakeland's only professional dance company and we are completely nonprofit. Through our partnership with Florida Southern College we have the privilege of bringing Nutcracker to the Branscomb Auditorium each year.  These performances are open auditions and students from all over come to share their talents with our professional company.  Whether it is one of our cocktails and choreography evenings, or our spring ballet, audiences leave each performance with full hearts!
